Tumwater Vineyards is a beautiful location designed for wine tastings and events.  The challenge was that although memberships were up, the Barrel House was under utilized.  The primary reason was due to the lack of awareness.   The solution was to start with a top of funnel approach to bring awareness followed by internal

 

Calendar Availability

The concept was simple.  Formerly, the calendar only represented events that were happening at the vineyard.  By tweaking the elements of the calendar we were able to signal to visitors with a Book Private Event to signify that the Barrel House at Tumwater was available for rent.  This simple signal helped increase the interest of the 

Email Marketing For Events

Emails were an essential piece in marketing to Tumwater guests regarding events.   Although emails were sent monthly, utilizing it beyond the occasional notification of specific events and wine releases, it was underutilized for elements such as facility rentals.  By simply adding a section to the email regarding events improved both visibility and interest for the vineyard.

Video For Events

Capturing media for event marketing.  Shooting video was important to provide guests the opportunity to see that they could have their event at the Vineyard.  This simple visual helped provide a little more information and a personal touch to the vineyard.

Promotion 

Targeted Facebook ads turned Tumwater Vineyard into a sought-after event destination. Weddings were rare and with promoting the vineyard 8 weddings were reserved after a late launch in April and corporate rentals grew with bookings from associations, realtors, and even Ferrari.   In addition, other life events like celebrations of life and birthdays were also added to the calendar.
